About our Farm and Goat Farming
Our climate is characterised by hot and dry summers and a cool and wet winters. It is an excellent climate for wines, but
fairly harsh for farming. Paddock production is either limited by the draught (summer), or by low temperature and short daylight (winter).
It forces us to store water and feed (hay) for many months, and breeding must be carefully timed to make the maximum out of the short,
favourable period in spring.
