Milking_Parlor

The design of our milking parlour is an "extended bucket milking system" that allows to milk 8 goats at the same time; 4 goats each are milked into the same bucket. The milking system operates at a vacuum of minus 38kPa. The pulsator frequency is set to 90/min, and the pulsation ratio is 60%:40%.

To milk 40 goats takes less than two hours. When milking is finished, the front part of the platform (head bales with feed bowls) is moved forwards to allow the goats to leave the platform (rapid-exit).
